Liverpool clash with Everton as they travel to Goodison Park this Saturday afternoon and look to pick up another win in this away encounter. The Reds come into the match on the back of a hard-fought 2-1 win against Newcastle United, whereas, the Toffees were held up by Leeds United to a 1-1 draw.
Jurgen Klopp will set his players up in a 4-3-3 formation and could make no changes to the first team from the previous game. Mohammed Salah hasn’t scored in the past two fixtures, so he will be eager to get his name on the scoresheet this time around.
4-3-3 Liverpool Predicted Lineup Vs Everton
Alisson Becker will continue to operate in between the sticks for the Merseyside club and will look to secure a clean sheet after conceding a goal in the last outing. Joe Gomez will continue his partnership with Virgil Van Dijk at the heart of Liverpool’s backline as they try to stop the opposition in their tracks.
Trent Alexander-Arnold will hope to put in another influential display from the right-back position while Andrew Robertson keeps his place on the opposite flank. They will be expected to stretch the opposition and create enough chances for the players up front.
Kostas Tsimikas and Nathaniel Phillips will offer cover for the defensive positions taking a spot on the bench.
Klopp will continue with the midfield trio comprised of Jordan Henderson, Fabinho and Harvey Elliott. The three of them will be creating some clear-cut goal-scoring chances in the attacking third while efficiently distributing possession to their teammates. The latter will also be shielding the back four playing a more defensive role than the other two.
James Milner will be available for selection on the bench but could come on to make an impact in the second half if required.
Luis Diaz is a guaranteed starter on the left flank, while Mohamed Salah looks to impress in the right-wing position.
Roberto Firmino will continue to spearhead Liverpool’s attack down the middle, although Darwin Nunez comes back from suspension. The Brazilian forward has been in terrific form in the past few fixtures and would be looking forward to fancying his chances of finding the back of the net.
Fabio Carvalho will be named on the bench as he awaits his opportunity to make an impact as a late-game substitute if the Reds are in need of a goal by then.
